About Bryan (Lead Instructor)

I’m Bryan Pearson, born and raised here in Eastern Oregon. I grew up riding dirt bikes, snowmobiles, hunting, and generally being outside when I could. After college I began working in IT, traveling the world for work, and then began flying powered paragliders in my 30’s.

I’ve always had a passion for instructing and helping others learn, which is where my desire for teaching powered paragliding comes into play. For me, it’s the perfect mix of technical knowledge, physical finesse, and adventure. There is nothing better than sharing the sheer joy of paramotoring with others!

About Jake (Assistant Instructor)

I’m Jake Oakland and I’m from Kamiah, ID, where I grew up right beside the municipal airport. Most summer mornings I woke up to the local guys taking off in their fixed wings and always hoped I could do the same thing when I got older. Life took me to the Air Force where I worked on B-52s and then here to Baker, OR where I’m a Speech Therapist.

Paramotoring has been one of the most rewarding endeavors I’ve had the fortune to be involved with. Helping others achieve their dream of flight is truly a partnership and we will get you in the air safely and with the confidence to keep you flying at your home field. Training never ends and we’ll continue to support you even after you head home!

Our Facilities

Coursework and testing will be in our main hanger & office at the La Grande, OR county airport (KLGD). Featuring equipment storage, tools, laptops, TV, whiteboards, seating & tables, the hanger is the base of operations.

Primarily, flights and kiting will be in the mowed and maintained fields of the KLGD airport, but we have various LZ options throughout the Union and Baker County valleys, depending on weather, wind, and the congestion of the airport.
